Corey Gamble's ex got a restraining order against him in 2010, claiming he followed her everywhere, manhandled her and left bruises, and even called OnStar to track her car.
But Kris is telling all her friends ... she knows stalkers since she and her family have had more than their share ... and Corey doesn't fit the profile.
Her reasoning is interesting ... she says he's a "background guy" who doesn't look for publicity or notoriety. She adds he works as a tour manager for Justin Bieber and never tried exploiting that relationship.
We're told Corey gave her a heads up long before stories surfaced about the restraining order against him, and he convinced Kris the chick never had a case against him and the only reason it's coming up now is because she wanted to make a quick buck from the tabloids.
Love is sweet, but it can also be blind. The question ... which is it.

Being married seems to be the wrong thing to do anymore....I mean..what happened to the sanctity of marriage? It is morally WRONG to be married Before you get knocked up? This is why society is a mess and kids are on drugs trying to escape the realities of life. No bible teaching in the home, no morals taught at home, no real sense of purpose in life except getting high and drunk. No wonder the world is going to hell in a hand basket. NO morals. No God. No common sense. Abort the kids you don't want because you can't and won't use birth control and divorce is expected the moment you get married. Who THINKS about divorce on their wedding day? Who ever heard of singing a pre-njup 50 years ago? No one! Because they knew that the word "Mariage" meant REAL COMMITTMENT and working things out in life. Today, it's too easy to get a divorce. People should have counseling before getting a divorce. Way before it comes down to that, unless someone is being abusive or drunk all the time..

On Wednesday, Kourtney and her Kardashian sisters Kim and Khloé, plus younger half-sister Kylie Jenner, gathered with friends to celebrate her impending arrival — who, all jokes aside, will probably be gorgeous and take a mean selfie — with a brunch at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel.
Kourtney, 35, is already mom to Mason, 4, and Penelope, 2. She and their father, Scott Disick, are expecting a third child, reportedly a girl, next month.
Of course, the reality family shared snapshots of the baby shower, which had a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme. The rooftop restaurant where it was held was decorated with white flowers and the iconic robin egg blue boxes from Tiffany & Co.

Teresa Giudice's prison life is officially headed down a familiar path ... because a N.J. judge ordered the reality TV star to serve her time behind the bars made famous by "Orange Is The New Black."
After her request to spend 12 of her 15 months at a halfway house was denied ... Teresa got the news Wednesday that she'll be headed to the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, CT.
Strangely enough, on "OITNB" ... lead character Piper Chapman is similarly sentenced to 15 months at Danbury ... for money laundering.
Teresa's been begging the judge for weeks not to send her to Danbury ... which the show depicts as being one of the worst prisons in the U.S.

Joan Rivers Cause of Death May Remain Mystery Because NO AUTOPSY, We may never know exactly what killed Joan Rivers ... because a decision was made NOT to do an autopsy, She has learned.
Sources connected to the NYC Medical Examiner tell us ... Melissa Rivers was despondent when Joan died and told doctors she did not want an autopsy performed. According to New York law, doctors will honor such a request if there's no evidence of criminality associated with the death.
The Medical Examiner has concluded the cause of death was deprivation of oxygen which caused irreversible brain damage. We're told they determined the "predictable" complication involved the procedure itself and not Propofol.
Here's the problem ... we're told without an autopsy it's impossible to pinpoint the nature of the problem. As one source said, an autopsy might reveal a puncture in the throat or other trauma.
The only way Joan's family might get a definitive answer is if a doctor or nurse owns up to a possible mistake ... and even then it's just someone's word.
So the precise cause of Joan's death may forever stay a mystery.

You may recall the epic MJ hologram rolled out during this year's Billboard Music Awards. You almost didn't see it, because a mogul named Alki David went to court claiming a guy named John Textor stole the technology and asked the judge to block Textor from showcasing the hologram on the show.
The judge told David to pound sand, and that's where the craziness began.
According to legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- David went on a hate campaign against Textor, posting a pic of Hitler flipping off the camera on Instagram and tagging Textor. David also allegedly sent Textor death threats and allegedly tried extorting him with photos and illicit money transfers.
And most ominous ... David posted pics of himself holding a gun to a dog's head, which Textor says was a not-so-veiled threat to him.

Textor went to court this week with the help of legal pit bull Marty Singer, asking for a protective order and the judge agreed. David has been ordered to stop the harassment, stay clear of Textor and get rid of his guns and not get new ones.

Pope marries couples who have cohabited, had children. Pope Francis
married 20 couples on Sunday, some of whom had already lived together
and had children, in the latest sign that the Argentine pontiff wants
the Catholic church to be more open and inclusive.

In the first wedding he has performed in his 18-month-old papacy, Francis took each couple through their vows in turn -- including Gabriella and Guido, who already had children and thought such a marriage would be impossible, official broadcasting

Radio Vaticana said.
"The people getting married on Sunday are couples like many others," the diocese of Rome said in a statement. "Some already live together, some already have children."
The ceremony was the first of its kind in the Vatican since Pope John Paul II presided over a wedding in 2000, when he was the leader of the world's 1.3 billion Catholics.
Francis, who is the first non-European pope in 1,300 years, has expressed tolerance regarding other topics that are traditionally taboo in the Church, asking "who am I to judge?" a gay person "who seeks God and has good will".
His approach contrasts with that of his predecessor, the German Pope Benedict, who said that threats to the traditional family undermined the future of humanity itself.
Bishops from all over the world are due to come to the Vatican in October for a major meeting on the family, which the Jesuit pope referred to in the homily to Sunday's Mass as the "bricks" on which society is built.
The bishops are expected to discuss issues such as marriage, divorce and contraception at the synod, from Oct 5-19.
The pope has said the Church must end its obsession with teachings on abortion, contraception and homosexuality, and become more merciful, or risk collapsing "like a house of cards".
