Michael Sam's reality show is officially "on hold" -- after the linebacker's agent met with the Rams and realized it's a huge distraction that could seriously jeopardize his chances of making the team.

Of course, Sam struck a deal to star in a docu-drama for Oprah's OWN Network about his journey to the NFL as the league's first openly gay player.

The NFL reportedly knew about the show, but when the Rams drafted Sam -- they had no idea -- and everyone on the planet knew the team would view the show as an unwanted "distraction."

Everyone ... except Sam.

But today, Sam's agent with team honchos ... and it's clear they spelled it out for him -- it's in Sam's best interest to get rid of the cameras or else he could be looking for a new job.

Sam's agent released a statement saying, "After today’s meeting with the Rams, we collectively feel it is best to postpone the project. This will allow for Michael to have a total focus on football, and will ensure no distractions to his teammates."

"Everybody involved remains committed to this project and understands its historical importance as well as its positive message."

On Tuesday, May 13, the Duke of Cambridge hosted A-listers including Emma Watson, Cate Blanchett, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Helena Bonham Carter, and Benedict Cumberbatch at a star-studded gala dinner for The Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital, of which Prince William is the president.

With his wife, Kate Middleton, tending to Prince George at home, the Duke, 31, welcomed guests to the stately, gorgeous Windsor Castle in Windsor, England. There, he rubbed elbows with the stars and chatted with designer Ralph Lauren, who announced his plans to fund a new breast cancer center at the hospital.

Think it's great that William is sponsoring an event for cancer care and he's brought big money to the event for the hospital. I am a cancer survivor and I don't appreciate the shallow criticisms and the sophomoric satirical remarks.

Jennifer Lawrence slipping and falling on her face is still a lot less embarrassing than Kim K opening her mouth for any reason, and definitely not as bad as the people that actually pay attention to celebrity lives and worship everything they do. Like reading tabloids for instance. I couldn't imagine anything more sad and pathetic than people who live vicariously through famous people...Just goes to show where our priorities are. We give these things their own reality. Like in the movie Network- "you dress like the tube! You think like the tube! You even raise your kids like the tube! It's the same way that people are confusing money with wealth, and symbolism with reality. People wonder why they're not free while constantly imprisoning themselves with the "values" of social institutions. You validate them by making them real. And buying into the illusions of prosperity and "business as usual". Materialism and idol worship of celebrities is all a sham. To keep you quiescent and unaware.Jennifer Lawrence proved once again that she's got the balance of a baby giraffe.
The 23-year-old actress hit the New York City premiere of her new film "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and stunned in a velvet, midnight blue Jason Wu gown, but the slinky dress almost lead to her demise.

Lawrence barely made it up a small flight of stairs before catching her heel on her gown and losing her balance.

Those photos are old or photo shopped."
